Marian Rivera experienced life on the other side of the fandom fence when she joined excited collectors at a special signing session with Lang, the Chinese artist behind the beloved Pop Mart character Hirono.
The event was held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the newly opened Pop Mart flagship store in SM Megamall.

Shortly after Marian secured her autographs, her husband Dingdong Dantes posted on Instagram a photo of them alongside her newly signed Hirono figures.
In his caption, he shared how delighted he was to witness Marian in full fangirl mode—the most excited he had seen her in a long time.
Dingdong wrote, published as is: “I rarely see her this excited—full-on fangirl mode. Today, she met the creator of one of the toys she loves to collect… and even got it signed! Little does she know, she causes the very same happy chaos in the hearts of her own fans. @marianrivera”
In the comments section, Marian couldn’t contain her joy, writing: “hindi na ako makakatulog tonight kilig ko hanggang heaven [emoji]”

On her own Instagram account, Marian also expressed her gratitude to Pop Mart Philippines for making her dream of meeting the artist behind one of her favorite characters come true.
She wrote: Thank you @langswork for making my dream come true and for the kindness. [emoji] The kilig I felt when you signed my Hirono is something I’ll never forget [emoji] Grateful to @popmart_phl and @mishensamonte for making this possible. [emoji]”
In an earlier interview with PEP.ph, Marian revealed that her introduction to Pop Mart began with Hirono, after she received a full set of the figures as a gift.
Since then, her collection has continued to grow—so much so that several pieces are now on display at her newest business venture, Wonder Society, a playhouse she recently opened.
